Student Scholarships
Recognizing the value, merit, and creativity of the next generation of Patuxent River stewards, the Conference Planning Committee warmly welcomes and strongly encourages student involvement and is offering student scholarships to interested applicants. Recipients of student scholarships will receive a waived conference fee which includes access to all of the conference sessions, lunch, and assorted refreshments throughout the day.
Student scholarship recipients should prepare a research poster or table-top presentation about a topic related to the Patuxent River watershed or provide a written description of your experience that will be published in Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary's quarterly publication the Marsh Notes. Students will have the opportunity to share their project informally with conference attendees over the lunch hour.
